1. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

To begin the return or exchange process, you must submit a return request within 30 days of receiving your order. Please follow these steps:

  • Submit a Return Application:

    • Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return or exchange, and a brief description of why you’re returning the item.

  • Return Authorization:
    Once we receive your request, we will review it. If approved, we will send you a Return Authorization Number and return instructions.

  • Return Shipping Costs:

    • Customer Responsibility: For standard returns and exchanges, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

    • Fuel Parts Depot Responsibility: If the item is defective, damaged, or our error caused the issue, we will cover return shipping costs.


2. What to Do After Receiving Return Authorization

Once you’ve been issued a Return Authorization Number, please:

  1. Prepare the Item:
    The product must be in original condition, unused, and in its original packaging. Make sure to include any manuals, accessories, or components that came with the product.

  2. Return Shipment:

    • Carefully package the item and include the Return Authorization Number inside the package.

    • Ship the item back using a trackable shipping method to the address we provide.

    • Deadline: Your return must be postmarked within 7 days from the date you received the Return Authorization Number.


3. Unauthorized Returns

  • Strict Policy on Unauthorized Returns:
    Any returns made without prior authorization will be rejected and the product will be discarded

    • No refunds or exchanges will be provided for unauthorized returns.


4. Refunds and Exchanges

  • Refund Process:
    Once your returned item has been inspected and approved, we will issue a refund to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.

  • Exchanges:
    If you’re exchanging an item, we will process the exchange and ship the replacement item to you as soon as we receive the original product.

  • Restocking Fee:
    In some cases, a restocking fee may apply (e.g., for products that have been opened or used). We will notify you in advance if a restocking fee will be applied.


5. Non-returnable Items

Certain items are non-returnable due to their nature or condition. These include:

  • Custom Orders: Items that are specifically made for you.

  • Electrical Components: Such as alternators, starters, or sensors, once installed.

  • Consumable Items: Like fluids, oils, or other products that are opened and used.

  • Final Sale or Clearance Items: Clearly marked as non-returnable.


6. Damaged or Defective Items

We understand that receiving a damaged or defective product can be frustrating. If you receive a damaged or defective item, please follow these steps:

  1. Notify Us Immediately:
    Contact us within 48 hours of receiving the item by emailing(邮箱) support@fuelpartsdepot.com. Please include your order number and photos of the damaged or defective product.

  2. Return Process for Damaged/Defective Items:

    • Return Shipping Costs: If the item is defective or damaged, Fuel Parts Depot will cover the return shipping costs.

    • We will offer a full refund or a replacement item depending on your preference.
